Hope he gets a contract worth at least 10% of what the franchise tag is worth to him annually, it is a cinch that he will not get that much in a bidding war for his services.

Not the highest but a pretty darned good offer for a Guard; top 5 for certain.
Tough to say how much better he’d do on the open market but the guys a very good player and the Patriots finally seem to be focused on rebuilding their O.L (Nick Solder, Marcus Cannon) to protect Brady, so maybe Kraft will come around in this scenario as well.
BTW, Mankins agent in California is a flat-out buffoon. He comes across like an amateur. As mentioned, one “Scorched Earth” statement after another.
