Ex-employee charged with stealing $30,000 from Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens, Jerraud Powers AP

An Atlanta man who previously worked for Terrell Owens has been accused of stealing $30,000 out of Owens’ bank account.

WSB Atlanta reports that the man, Antonio Edwards, spent more than a year paying more than $2,000 a month in rent out of Owens’ Bank of America account, using an online payment system.

There’s no word on the nature of Edwards’ employment for Owens, how he was able to steal $2,000 a month for more than a year without being detected, or how the theft was eventually discovered.

Edwards is charged with felony theft by deception.

TO! Beat his ass! It’s the principle of the matter. He’s playing with your emotions!

That is a good way to make your money grow, leave it in a banking account which draws no interest plus you must have enough in the account that you do not miss 2 grand a month. I would think you might want to find a financial advisor to help you out, how about your agent, he is a lawyer.

If it was anybody else, and not a loudmouth troublemaker, I would feel bad for him. But since it is Owens, I would just say, what goes around comes around. There is such a thing as Karma. Owens has 30,000 reasons to not trust the hangers-on and leeches he surrounds himself with.

It’s weird that a poster under the handle of “philyeagles5″ is actually defending TO.

And I don’t know about most of you, but I know when 20 bucks goes missing from my acct.

Watching TO and that other guy beats any soap opera.

The employee had the bad habit of picking up loose change from the floor and under the seat cushions then sticking it in his pocket instead of putting it on top of the dresser or table.
