An Atlanta man who previously worked for Terrell Owens has been accused of stealing $30,000 out of Owens’ bank account.

WSB Atlanta reports that the man, Antonio Edwards, spent more than a year paying more than $2,000 a month in rent out of Owens’ Bank of America account, using an online payment system.

There’s no word on the nature of Edwards’ employment for Owens, how he was able to steal $2,000 a month for more than a year without being detected, or how the theft was eventually discovered.

Edwards is charged with felony theft by deception.
