Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver and tight end Ernest Wilford has pleaded no contest to a charge of resisting arrest stemming from a January incident, according to the Florida Times Union.

A charge of trespassing was dropped in exchange for the plea.

Wilford, 32, allegedly touched two women at a Jacksonville Beach bar in an “inappropriate” manner on Friday, January 14. Asked to vacate the premises, Wilford refused and told police, “I’m not going anywhere.”

After allegedly pushing one officer in the chest, he was brought down with two shots from a stun gun.

Wilford finished last season with one catch for three yards.
