Wow what a great cover! Can’t think of a better person / player to grace the cover. Hillis is a Monster and will continue to steamroll the competition in 2011/12. Steelers fans remember what happened when that Polomalu chick tried to tackle him one on one. Go Browns.

I hear they’re making a Special Edition: Lock-out cover. It’s like the one from a few years ago with both Polamalu and Larry Fitz on the cover, except now on one side it’s De Smith in his little bowler hat, and on the other side is Peyton Hillis sitting in a La-Z-Boy eating a bag of cheetos.

no changes in the last decade? did you guys not play 11? they changed all of the audibles, changed the kicking, the hit stick, no sprint button and have really just dumbed down the version. i hope 12 goes back the way 10 was but just improves upon the gameplay and visual aspects of the game. i don’t know a single person that liked madden 11 better than 10.

@Matt – what fits Cleveland perfectly is losing. It is the single hardest thing to stop doing in professional sports.

Should have put Goodell and D smith on the cover and called it the “Lockout” Edition. Where you can either be an owner or a player deciding the next litigation or lockout move you will make. If it’s in the game it’s in the game (even if there is no game.).

I dont care what they do to improve the game. This franchise has screwed me over far too many times in the past for me to want to risk another $60 disappointment. I will not buy another football game until the NFL gives licensure to another competing developor. I suspect that is when you may see some actual improvement with the Madden franchise since they will finally have some incentive to make a better/different game from year to year instead of just polishing the same old turd over and over.

Madden 12 is the first Madden game to use Kinect too. So people will actually get a workout playing.

EA claims to have made major changes to the game for 2012. Many of these changes were made based on user feedback. Improved animations and an overhaul to Franchise mode…

Good for him for landing the cover… But I have the feeling that he is there mainly because so many people voted against their guy to avoid the “curse”. I know here in Detroit they tried to get Suh voted down (worked) then tried to get Aaron Rodgers voted in (Almost worked). The main reason he is on the cover is that… And the anti Vick voters

It’s hard not to like Peyton Hillis. The guy is a beast and a true throwback to the good ol’ days of smash mouth football. I hope he can keep up his style of play, because it fits Cleveland perfectly.
