You guys really are haters. he is a great guy. the book is about how God, and his family made him what he i8s today. i myself am a christian and Tim is an inspiration to me and other christian athletes all over the world. he is not afraid to talk about his faith. leave the man alone.

Maybe Timmy just took a page from The Boz’s playbook. Of course, I don’t know if we’ll find anything in Tebow’s book about cutting off sex on Fridays so that he’s ready for gameday.

What he’s done is shoved his personal beliefs down everyone’s throats through a medium (football) that has absolutely NOTHING to do with religion. I watch football for entertainment, not for theology lessons. There are probably hundreds of devout Christians in the league (some of them ordained ministers even), they just don’t chose to evangelize and pimp themselves like Tebow does. Just like I loved Reggie White as a player, but he was just as annoying off the field with his evangelical diatribes.

I have way more respect for a guy like Napoleon Kaufman who gave up football and big money in order to preach then Tebow who uses it as a money maker.

…but since he consistently chooses publicly highlight his “faith”, it’s certainly fair to point out that he attributes his success to his imaginary friend in the sky and finds religious delusions quite helpful in life…

How you so many of you criticize a book you haven’t read? It’s obvious most of you haven’t. It’s about how he dealt with certain situations as a Christian, and shares his experiences and how he dealt with them and used relevant scriptures.

What’s sad is the hate directed at him when all I have ever seen from him is that he is good, and kind, and he appears to be good to the fans, and he praises God. That seems to be the major problem of some people. Keep praising God, Tim.

I hope most of the extremely ignorant posters here realize the book is mainly about his early life and college days. If you all remember correctly he accomplished more in college than everyone posting here will in their entire lifetimes.

And as the earlier post said, if Justin Beiber can write a book anyone can.

How about the mission trips he’s been on, the prisons and hospitals he’s visited, the charities he’s contributed to, and the countless lives he’s touched that you don’t hear about?
