The legal guardian for Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor said Friday that he believes Pryor will stay at the school despite his suspension and Jim Tressel’s recent departure.
There has been speculation in recent days that Pryor could leave the school and try to enter the NFL’s supplemental draft.
“I think he will stay in school,” said Willie Burns, who is also Pryor’s godfather. “He likes football. Only time will tell. He could change his mind in a minute. But he if he does leave, somebody done pressured his butt - bad.”
We’ve heard speculation that Pryor could potentially be a mid-round draft pick by teams that would try to convert him to wide receiver. If Burns is correct, the discussion about Pryor’s viability at the next level will have to wait until next year’s draft silly season.
