This guy really deserves a shot. Saw him in plenty of preseason games with the Cowboys, and was extremely pissed when we let him go. Didn’t see enough Panther games to see what went wrong in Carolina, but I know that this guy has a huge upside considering his age and skill set.

Agree with you completely, with the “Coming off shoulder surgery, Moore is an interesting pickup for a team looking for a backup with some experience and upside. He’s just not a great fit for the Panthers.” statement. He has all the upside, he just hasn’t been on the field enough to prove what his roof is.

How about Denver? They could use another backup for Orton. Maybe trade Tebow straight up for him. Carolina gets two similar style qbs, and Tebow could indoctrinate Newton on the finer points of being an author and icon.

I’d keep him around, if Newton doesn’t do well and Jimmah tanks again, he’s got some decent past rapport with the receivers.

Since he came from the cowboys practice squad, the cowboys make the most sense. Assuming kitna is dealt to Minnesota or somewhere else.
