Oh, by the way: Tom Brady is healthy

Nate Solder, Tom Brady AP

Somewhat lost in all the news this week about the media dodging and labor talk at the large Patriots practices was the fact that last year’s MVP Tom Brady looks fully healthy again.

“I feel good, good enough to run around here and have fun,” Brady said Friday evening. “I’m excited for football season.”

Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com writes that one couldn’t see anything “out of the ordinary” in his three days of practices, indicating that he’s recovered well from surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot.

The big question now regards when we’ll get to see Brady test that foot again.

    Isn’t Tom Brady dreamy?

You mean to say old Bill decided not to claim Bradys shoulder is still hurt, like he has for how many years now.

Well, Bunchy’s Boy has healthy and wealthy down, now he needs to work on wise.

So now the Brady apologists won’t have any excuses for his continued trend of recent playoff suckiness.

I would say he’s already got WISE figured out….he’s wealthy, healthy, rich, & married to a super model….Oh yeah, he plays for the Patriots too…..yup, Tom is already a very WISE man!!!!

I know you post this a lot on Pats stories and usually that type of stuff annoys me, but for some reason I always laugh when I see it. It’s just random enough I guess. :)

vahawker-Most Pats fans I interact with are pretty disappointed w/ Brady’s play in the Pats past two playoff losses and aren’t interested in any “excuses”. He’s an elite player and he’s played C-D level in those games at best. Not acceptable IMO.

(As an aside, if you search “Hoyer” on CSNNE’s site, it suggests that you were looking for “homer” instead. LOL)

Stone Cold Truth: You won’t get the chance to play Tommy until you withdrawal the lawsuit or lose in Court and on appeal.

No kidding. Belichick really makes it tough for an honest mafia bookie to make a buck when he screws up the latest line by mocking the injury report and the mob’s interest in the NFL

So Brady is gonna take his skirt off and play like a man?

Lets face it. He plays like a girl. Im not a huge BigBen fan but no way would Brady play like Ben, with his nose looking sideways and a fractured ankle.

He’s good as long as he’s not getting hit. He gets rattled easy.

The Patriots went 14-2 last season in a rebuilding year. They have had a team good enough to compete for a Championship every single year since 2001. You can say what you want about their recent poor performance in the playoffs, but 90 percent of fans of teams around the league would take the kind of success the Patriots have had over the last decade over their teams performance in a second. They are lying if they say they wouldn’t.

He was never not healthy. The media just trotted out an excuse for their golden boy like they did for years with Favre.

    @stixzidinia

A stress fracture in the foot that required surgery is an excuse? If you don’t think that’s a serious injury, then watch Kevin McHale walk the sidelines for the Houston Rockets next year. He played on a stress fracture in his foot in the 1987 playoffs and still limps around to this day because of it, tool.

Except that he’s questionable this Sunday with a shoulder injury.

Yeah, Brady’s post-season surgery was just an excuse to have his foot cut open because we all know what a hoot that is. Seriously, if your brains were dynamite there wouldn’t be enough to blow your hat off.
