You’re calling what was a classic 7-3 crapfest (in which the other teams insanely-better-than-your-#1 QB was injured) a referendum on the eventual Super Bowl Champs?

Not a fan, but if you really think that the Packers are overrated and the Lions hype is totally legit, then I’d like a swig of some of that Honolulu Blue Kool-Aid.

This has to be up there with “If it wasn’t for my horse, I wouldn’t have spent that year in college.”

I love all the hate for my lions hahaha if any fan from any other team can say they honestly look forward to playing the lions in 2011 then they’re fools…REGARDLESS of whether stafford can go or not.

Schwartz and mayhew are putting together a MEAN team on defense and absolutely explosive team on offense. Are they going to make the playoffs next season?? who knows, they play in arguably the toughest division in football. Are they going to bring it for 4 quarters and inflict as much pain as physically possible?? MOST DEFINITELY

I hope stafford can stay healthy because ANYONE who watches the kid knows he has all-pro skills…physically as well as his intangibles. We all should remember his surgery was near identical to that of 2 former “injury concern” QB’s in Drew Brees and Sam Bradford…If he keeps it together for all 16 the lions will be adding another member to the pro bowl in 2011

I love guys that dont watch the Lions that try to say how good they are. Stafford is a special talent he has the swag and the physical ability to play the position very well. Obviously I’ll beat the dead horse by saying he just needs to stay healthy.

Overrated?

Not sure… maybe best dline in football you didnt mention that. Best tight end duo maybe even trio with blocking tight end will heller. Jahvid was electric before toe injuries (scored the first 5 tds of the season i think) leshoure comes in as a change of pace perfect compliment. Speed with titus young perfect compliment to megatrons all around ability and nate burlesons slot skills. Basically one of the most equipped offenses in the league.

Best dline= great free agent possibilities in the back 7 anyone would want to play behind that especially knowing the offense can put up points.

Everything is rollin for them you just seem like a bitter bears fan that is watching his team age and jealous of the fan base following arguably the best young team in football (tb also a consideration)

Megatron made it to the Pro Bowl this past year with a 2nd string and 3rd string QB throwing the ball to him all season. Delmas was the replacement FS for the probowl. Stefan Logan was Hester’s replacement on kick return. Suh 10.5 sacks this season 2011 Pro Bowl starter. John Welding pro bowl special teams replacement and Brandon Pettigrew 73 receptions this year 3rd among tightends in receptions. And they beat the Packers this past season with Drew Stanton. Anyways Stafford isn’t a bust it’s been 2 season already and in the games he has played in he has shown that he has more talented and more potential then Sanchez Freeman

I’m a raiders fan but I root for teams like the lions when we aren’t playing them. I just don’t understand though how everybody is sayin how they are going to become a contender next year while the very same people are saying the raiders are awful and have no shot at contention. Especially considering the division the lions play in. Packers win the superbowl bears make it to nfc championship Vikings window has probably closed but I bet they win 6-10 games next year. But everybody is ready to give them the nfc north crown and give the number 1 overall pick to the raiders next year. Seriously somebody clue me in???
