If there’s one thing that Drew has learned, its that the Eagles won’t be held hostage by a player and his agent, even at the cost of losing games because of all the disruption. Let’s just hope that both sides have gotten a little smarter since 2005, and can work something out.

Look this is real simple the players can’t have it both ways you can’t sign a long term contract protecting yourself if you are injured, then out play that piece of insurance and say Ok time for a new deal.

What is the point of locking a guy into a contract if only one side “The Team” if ever forced to live up to the deal. The courts never force a player to play but they always force a team to pay.
