APThe Tennessee Titans are giving their player-organized workouts this week a training camp feel, letting fans in to watch on Wednesday.
Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan wrote on Twitter Monday night that fans are welcome and encouraged to attend.
“It’s official we are gonna open up Wednesdays practice to the public everyone tell everyone come out at 10:30 and bring the whole family,” Finnegan wrote.
At a time when the lockout has alienated NFL fans, and when some players have hired security to keep the public away from their workouts, Finnegan’s tweet is a nice message that the players want to connect with their fans.
Finnegan, one of the primary organizers of the workouts, expects almost every player on the team to attend.

Are reporters allowed to make a big deal about Jake Locker yet or is he still requesting they don’t?
Courtland hopes Andre doesn’t show up to beat him up again!
I don’t think that this lockout/strike has been about either side winning any kind of p.r. battle. I don’t care if the they are only millionaires ten times over or a millionaire 800 times over, both sides saw this impasse coming years ago and did nothing to stop it. I HATE BOTH SIDES BECAUSE THEY ARE THREATENING TO TAKE AWAY AMERICA”S TRUE PASSTIME! Shenanigans be damned.. get to the table and hammer this thing out and let’s play football already!
