Bowen sounds like he expects to be back in Dallas

The uncertain status of Cowboys defensive end Stephen Bowen and the rest of his unit will be one of the biggest areas for the Cowboys to address after the lockout.

Bowen, for one, sounds like he plans to be back with the Cowboys. He’s been working out with teammates and learning Rob Ryan’s new defense.

“There’s nothing I can do. Hopefully it works itself out and a player in my position will get a chance to get a second deal,” Bowen told the Dallas Morning News. “Everybody is trying to get in shape and make sure we learn the defense.”

If we had to guess, Bowen will likely be Dallas’ priority at the position after the lockout ends.

He’s a keeper Mr. Jones! Spears too! Then go and fetch DL Jenkins from New York! Bench Igor! Then focus on resigning Gerald S. and finding a play making free safety….. but not Huff!

P.S. Oh and don’t forget about Kyle K. on the O-line. If he can stay healthy he’s a good LG. Resign him too! 🙂
