Former Cowboys linebacker Godfrey Myles dies at 42

Godfrey Myles, who played linebacker for the Cowboys in the 1990s and won three Super Bowl rings, died Thursday at the age of 42.

Different reports have said Myles suffered either a massive heart attack or a massive stroke.

The Cowboys took Myles out of Florida in the third round of the 1991 draft, and he played with the team through 1996. He started 11 games for the 1995 team that won Super Bowl XXX.

Myles suffered a torn ACL in Super Bowl XXX in January of 1996 but returned to play all 16 games of the 1996 season. He signed with the Broncos in 1997 but never played in Denver.
