The Ravens offensive line struggled last season after being considered one of the better young groups in the league.
That means changes are coming, apparently starting with a demotion of free agent Chris Chester — if Chester returns to the team. Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun writes that Chester, who started 14 games season at right guard, will be brought back as a reserve center.
The Ravens want Chester to back up Matt Birk, who is entering his fourteenth season. Of course it’s also possible another team will give a decent contract to Chester considering he’s young (28) and has started 38 times for a winning teams over the last three years.

He is so good they promoted him from starter last season to back up this season ? lol Yep
its not really a demotion. the only reason he was starting was because of injury.
