It is amazing how many nfl players are so stupid, arrogant,etc. and run into problems with the law. That said you also have many matt birks in the league but the PFT turd list always amazes me. Felony battery, brandishing a gun and that’s just the vikings. some players just know violence and mayhem. Why do I want to bring my son to training camp when most players take off out the back of the shower facility and go to their new a/c dorm? waste of time and money.

No, he wasn’t – he had one great playoff run. His best season was in 2007 and he ranked 29th in Receptions, 21 in Yards, 19th in YPC and 4th in TDs – not exactly elite numbers. The people that are singing Plax’s praises, currently, have a short memory. Other than tha,t he’s been a “what if” kind of player. That said, even at 34, he would be an upgrade on Berrian.

With our current roster, Ponder is the quarterback. I’m not saying he’s going to take us to the play offs this year, in fact I have a strong feeling we’re going to have another 6-12 season (if not worse). But he is our quarterback… and I am giving him the chance he deserves. I think he’ll develop in to a great quarterback.
