It’s been a bad week for the Patriots. With the Bruins winning the Stanley Cup, New England’s NFL team now has the longest title drought of the four major Boston-based franchises.
But that moment pales in comparison to the “worst moments” the franchise has endured since the last work stoppage.
Sure, the Pats have won three Super Bowl since the last time the owners and players couldn’t get along. But teams that fly too close to the sun on wings of pastrami tend to crash from time to time, and the Pats have had several noteworthy negatives, despite their run of greatness.
