The arrest rate during the lockout has slowed considerably, but weekends in June sometimes entail pro athletes with little to do finding more than a little trouble.  It happened on Sunday in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan was arrested for assault and battery, according to the Daily News Record.

Per the report, the incident occurred in a parking lot on Evelyn Byrd Avenue in Harrisonburg.  Jordan was released without bail earlier today.

Details are sketchy for now.  Hopefully, he wasn’t waving a knife before accidentally throwing it at someone.

Ray Lewis was right… he’s always right. And yes, I am partially saying that out of respect for him and partially out of fear of him…

Released without bail? I doubt it was serious.

and all this time we thought Ray Lewis was crazy for saying the crime rate will go up.

How do you manage to get in trouble in Hicksville, VA?

Ray Lewis was taking about the crime rate among fans going up, not players, ye of little comprehension.

haha the comments would have passed 100 by now if this were a Cowboys player and most would be from Eagles fans.

It’s a college town, some kids stay out there for the summer, who knows though.

“How do you manage to get in trouble in Hicksville, VA?”

That is the truth man. I went to JMU and Harrisonburg is the middle of nowhere. No strip clubs, gambling joints, nightclubs………NOTHING. It’s more like Hooterville.

But some morons can find or create trouble just about anywhere.

I wish he would do some “assault and battery” on the field once in a while. I forgot he was on the team.

The Eagles defense is a mess. They need to cut their losses, and use free agency to bring in high character, mature veterans.

This Eagles Free Agency list is totally wrong Celek is signed through 2017, Harrison isn’t on that list, Rocca, Akers, Gaither, Jordan, Simms, Buckley, Cole. It doesn’t mention that Mike Patterson could be a free agent as well depending on how his contract is ruled on.

    you should fact check that
