Irsay just doesn’t have the kind of money some of the other owners have. Remember, he does not have a job or any companies to run. He earned his team the old fashion way.

The only reason Irsay wants this season to start is for the SB to be in Indy, not for the good of anyone else.

Interesting idea, but it’s a totally different situation, and the antitrust case hasn’t progressed very far in the court yet. So I don’t think there will be any special benefits.

So DeMoron Thomas…did you actually SEE this so called worse deal in sports history? or are you just repeating what Mrs. DeMoron told you to say?

I’m sure another team will pay BIG bucks to sign Manning so they can have a great regular seasons followed by playoff collapses and failure.

so irsay would pull the opposite that the packers did with favre? can’t say i’d be disappointed with that.. but, i’m not a colts fan. go ahead and reward someone for their service by committing a huge amount of cap to an aging player. it may be easy on your conscience, but the league is a young man’s.

They should to make the owners feel some pain by making them file the lawsuits, by offering the worst deal in the history of pro sports. DeMaurice Smith will make sure they are taken care of.
