Sure, the NFLPA* told players today that a deal isn’t close. We don’t buy it.
We think that real progress is continuously being made, but that neither side wants to jinx the process or compromise their own interests by allowing themselves to think it’s a fait accompli. (That’s fancy talk for “potato salad.” I think.)
Here’s our take on the situation. It was taped before new of the NFLPA* message became available, but we still believe it. In part because we’re too lazy to tape a new version of it.

Man , it better be close the clock is ticking !!
I’m sure there’s still a possibility that owners want a healthy business model, which would indeed keep the NFLPA from signing off on it.
Sorry, but I don’t buy the optimism.
De Smith is on a mission from satan.
Get ready for a clusterfudge folks.
As I have been saying since March 3, 2011, De Smith does not want any deal and I believe him when he says a deal isn’t close.
There was all kinds of “optimism” on the extension of the deadline. All it did was prolong De Smith from raising his middle finger.
The middle finger is coming. Wait for it………….
I thought fait accompli was in regards to an 18 game season?
lol @ “mission from Satan.”
