Bills use members of military to model new uniforms

With current players locked out -- and a certain high-profile former player locked up -- the Buffalo Bills needed to find models for their new uniforms. And so the team slapped their red, white, and blue jerseys and pants onto the men who fight for the Red, White, and Blue.

Members of the armed services modeled the new uniforms, complete with shoulder pads and padded game pants, at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Friday night.

The new uniforms are an updated version of the ensemble once the buffalo on the side of the helmet went from red and stationary to blue and running.

More pictures are available at the team’s official website, and the jerseys already are for sale. (Note that running back C.J. Spiller has switched from No. 21 to No. 28, which was Spiller’s number at Clemson and which previously was Leodis McKelvin’s number. Thanks to the reader who pointed that out.)

Once you get a look-see at them, let us know what you think.
