Nearly five months after he became the Tennessee Titans’ head coach, Mike Munchak has hired an assistant.
Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that Devin Bonik was hired as an assistant to the head coach.
Bonik worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2003 to 2009, with a job description that included assisting in coaching staff decisions and personnel evaluation, coordinating the practice schedule, compiling scouting reports and working on statistical analysis of upcoming opponents. He is expected to perform a similar role in Tennessee.
Bonik played outside linebacker at Oklahoma State in the 1980s and founded Forever Sports Inc., a company that runs youth football camps.
