APOur days without a Kenny Britt legal issue meter hit 6 days this afternoon, the longest such drought since May. It’s time to reset the thing back to zero.
Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean reports Britt surrendered himself to police Wednesday because of outstanding warrants stemming from a false application for a driver’s license. He’s free on $2,000 bond.
Britt was officially charged and is due back in court on July 18. News that Britt was wanted in Nashville for the warrants emerged two weeks ago and his lawyer said Britt would turn himself in when he returns to town.

False application for a driver’s license? Can we get more of the story on this? The guy’s 22 years old, what does he need a fake ID for?
Wow. You know it’s gotten out of hand when PFT gives you your own meter!
(fonetiklee, Don’t quote me but I’m pretty sure the false information was lying about whether his NJ license had ever been suspended)
When your name is Kenny and you’re stuck in a Nashville jail, you’re just a few chords and a hook line from stardom in the New Country scene.
Clearly the NFL-mandated rookie symposium worked.
Sincerely,
Kenny Britt
I vote that PFT change “Turd watch” to “Britt Watch”
To get from the parking lot to the Nashville courthouse, Britt had to navigate through all of the broken down pickup trucks, step over old and faithful, but dead, dogs, and turn down offers from the cheating wives.
What a stupid waste of talent this guy needs to grow up.
What is this guys problem?
The Facebook hacker clearly compromised the DMV computers. Case closed.
You have to give the guy some credit for turning himself in. At least he isn’t running from the police…oh, wait…
