Kenny Britt turns himself in for outstanding warrants in Nashville

Our days without a Kenny Britt legal issue meter hit 6 days this afternoon, the longest such drought since May.  It’s time to reset the thing back to zero.

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean reports Britt surrendered himself to police Wednesday because of outstanding warrants stemming from a false application for a driver’s license.   He’s free on $2,000 bond.

Britt was officially charged and is due back in court on July 18.  News that Britt was wanted in Nashville for the warrants emerged two weeks ago and his lawyer said Britt would turn himself in when he returns to town.
