No players have been seriously hurt during player-run practices during the lockout, which has been one of the nice surprises during this dreary offseason.

49ers receiver Michael Crabtree, who has been somewhat hobbled for more than a month, did suffer some sort of foot injury.

49ers tight end Vernon Davis confirmed Friday to the San Francisco Chronicle Crabtree hurt the foot at the first day of “Camp Alex [Smith]” on June 9th and said the injury was “far more” than soreness from a pair of new cleats, as Crabtree had claimed.

Davis said Crabtree will be ready for training camp, but it’s yet another minor setback in a short career full of them. Crabtree essentially hasn’t practiced as a pro in training camp.
