Kolb won't have the time he needs to throw the ball here in az, because we don't have an offensive line. he's better than anyone we have now, but he hasn't proven anything yet. His price is too high. I say play this year with a free agent quarterback like bulger and make an aggressive play to land Andrew luck.

Haven't the Cards learned their lessons with Hearst, T Jones in the past? IMO Beanie will be a very good NFL Rb shortly...patience Big Red!!!

If the Cardinals trade for Kolb it should be for a 3rd round pick and maybe a 7th. Kolb has not done anything to have a team give up anything less than a 3rd round pick. The Cardinals are better off drafting another QB in next years draft especially if they fail to solidify the position this season.

Luck, Barkley, Lindley, L. Jones, and a couple of division II QB's will be there next year for them to pick and choose who they want.

Kolb might as well sit on the bench and receive that pretty nice pay check he is getting. 7 starts in 4 yrs and is still on the bench.

"Ive been saying all along, its gonna be a 2nd and Hightower for Kolb. I laugh so hard everytime I see what some of the eagles fans think they are going to get. Patrick Peterson? LOL get real. DRC? You’ve gotta be kidding me. And @eaglesfootballfan, you do realize that Darryl Washington was our 2nd round pick last year right? no fricken way do the cards give him up for anybody."

So they will give a 2nd round pick and a player but not give up Darryl Washington because he was... a 2nd round pick? It sounds like you failed to use logic in your argument.

I think the Cardinals would be insane if they gave up either Rodgers-Cromartie or Patrick Peterson for Kolb. I think with Whisenhunt as his coach and the system they run he could MAYBE develop into a good QB, but from what I have seen if a team has just a decent pass rush, he doesn't make the best decisions and could cost his team the ball.

With the division that the Cards are in, they probably aren't going to win the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, and from what I have seen so far, Matt Barkley is probably just yet another overrated USC QB, so if the Cards make a move I would understand, but if they give up Patrick Peterson I think they may regret it in a few years down the road.

I'm so sure will get swindled imto trading for an offensive player by a notoriously cheap 5-11 team with no QB, no OL and marginal RBs. If they swap a player it will be from the defensive side. Cards fans (among others) are off their meds if they think the eagles are eyeing anyone on the offensive side of the ball.

Can someone remind me of what Kolb has accomplished in his 4 years in the NFL to warrant a high return?

He has as many playoff wins under his belt as Cutler did when HE was traded for all that swag. :D

Seriously, people talked like this about Schaub as well when Hou traded for him, and Kolb has more experience IIRC. At the point Schaub was traded I think he had mostly one monster game against my team (Pats) for judgment purposes along with a little bit of other play time.

DRC wouldn't be a good get for Phi anyway since he would be playing opposite Samuel. They are similar type players...gamblers.

It'll be 2 and Hightower. If more is demanded we toss a 3 at Orton and are just as happy.
Orton has more experience and only 1 year older.
The 2 can go to a 1 if he makes the Pro Bowl.
We ARE NOT trading DRC, Washington or PP7.

PS Philly fans...loved playing you in the NFC Championship Game...signed every Cardinals fan!
