Players to hold another conference call

Only the lawyers are meeting at Tuesday’s labor session in New York City, so there’s not a lot of news to pass along.  (We can tell you Albert Breer has sweated through his third suit in as many hours in the 100 degree heat.)

The players and owners arrive Wednesday.  Before that happens, the NFLPA* will essentially hold a pre-game conference call with the plaintiffs in the Brady antitrust case, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Among the topics on the agenda: The revenue split, the rookie wage scale, and tips on how to correctly use the phrase “drop his nuts.”

Wonder if the decertified union is hearing a lot of positive feedback from the rank and file players?

Sure – be strong – we can live on bread and water forever. 🙂
