They pay their employees well, I know I can’t go and ask my boss for some of his profits… Why should they? Its appauling!

What exactly did the players do? The owners opted out of the last CBA (as was their right), and then didn’t engage in any serious negotiations for nearly two years. The idea obviously was to wait until they were closer to a deadline to gain some advantage in negotiations. Again, that was well within their rights. The players countered by using the best strategies available to them to gain an advantage in negotiations, as is their right. In the end, we’re getting a deal done after many years of labor peace that sets the league up for quite a few more years of labor peace without any games having been lost. Even in the preseason, the only game at risk of being lost is the extra preseason game known as the hall of fame game.

As for not giving the players a penny of the profits, are you out of your mind? Are you suggesting slavery or forced labor camps? The owners may have purchased their team, but without the players they have no product. It’s a symbiotic relationship. The owners need elite players to keep the fans interested, and the players need the marketing and packaging of their sport that the NFL has proven so skilled at doing. As a result of their combined efforts, 8 of the 12 most valuable sports franchises in the world belong to the NFL, a league whose sport does not have the same international following as sports like soccer and basketball. As for asking your boss for a share of the profits, many of us work for companies that have some form of profit sharing. Even if that weren’t the case, in your blind hatred for anyone who is better off than you are, you’re ignoring a major factor. Athletes don’t have normal jobs. Professional sports are part of the entertainment industry, an industry in which a worker’s pay reflects the money they make for their bosses. It’s also an industry in which pay being based on a percentage of the profit is a common practice for the major players. In this case the only difference is that, rather than giving a percentage to a specific actor in a movie, you’re giving that percentage to the players as a whole.

Personally, I don’t care who gets what percentage of the profit, and I really don’t understand why anyone else would care either. It seems like some of you think it’s ok for the owners to make an unbelievable amount of money because they started out wealthy, but for a player who may have started out poor and worked their butts off to get where they are it’s somehow inappropriate. Basically, it seems like some of you hate the players because they started out where you did, but ended up a lot more successful. If that’s the case, that’s just sad.

And to the Bronco’s fan thank you for the respect and just know a lot of do route for the Broncos when they are not playing us based on the Fact Dawkins plays there. Would make me happy to see Dawk win a superbowl as long as its not against us.

Also for all those that talk so much poop on my birds do you think its strange you say how bad of franchise we are yet every offseason all the top free agents want to come here ??? Isn’t that strange that every year we have guys basiclly going to the media and begging to be an Eagle ?? Its funny how you don’t hear to many players going to the media to play for the Vikings or the Redskins…. hmmm

They need to set up one tent to administer IV’s and other fluids to all the Eagle fans who get too drunk, a tent for a court room to send them all to jail and a social service tent to place their ugly children in foster care while the parents sober up in the county jail.

It’s always refreshing to read witty remarks critical of Philadelphia from that bastion of clean streets and crime free neighborhoods…Washington, DC. That’s not to mention the tens of thousands of hard working and intellectually gifted Federal employees who make up much of the Skins’ fan base.

But speaking of novel tents at the Eagles training facility, how about a 4th tent where the wives/girls of male Skins’ fans can go when they’re tired of same old lame excuses about the Viagra not working any more?
