    RE Crabtree and Smith
” “They’re grown men, they’ll figure it out.””

Well one of them is an intelligent, experienced, level headed man; the other sometimes acts like a 13 year old girl and has continually made bad decisions. LOL

    Crabtree, another TO.

    @ thereisalwaysnextyear -

True, but it appears the 49ers are damning their chances on a NFC West title by continually trotting this sham of a QB back out into the spotlight. The fact that they chose him over Shaun Hill speaks volumes about the need for the recently passed rookie wage scale reform. Smith should’ve been dust two years ago. Now they are in a similar situation with Crabtree, trying to squeeze the juice out of another overpriced lemon. They should have already drafted his replacement (who can truthfully say that “Kaeper-gimmick” is that guy?) and be working on finding Crabtree’s replacement before his contract is up.

Poor, poor team management, scouting to ownership. The Niners could challenge now, especially in the west. But not with these two losers.
