Getty ImagesThe midsummer crime spree continues in the NFL.
According to the folks at WFAA in Dallas, two more players — a current Colt and a former Cowboy — were arrested Saturday night at The Bank nightclub for public intoxication.
The names have not yet been disclosed.
Inevitably, they will be.
UPDATE: Per WFAA’s updated link, they are Colts defensive end Jerry Hughes and former Cowboys linebacker Stephen Hodges. TCU defensive tackle Cory Grant also was arrested for public intoxication.

I’m going to guess Peyton Manning and Troy Aikman.
lol Nice ending, Mike.
I wonder if this guy didn’t listen to his moms growing up?
Peyton Manning and Troy Airman are the 2 arrested. I guarantee it!
The current Colt is mildly surprising but is the former Cowboy even news anymore?
For some reason I’m thinking Dominic Rhodes.
Taj Smith
I’m thinking that Colt punter guy who was caught urinating in a public waterway last season.
At least it was for PI and not DUI. Peyton and Troy were my first guess, otherwise the names would have come out, no?
Ray Lewis’ predicted civil unrest continues!
It can’t be Peyton Manning. He takes all of his fluids intravenously for fear of hurting his neck.
Ken Hamlin?
No more benefit of doubt, football players have to be the biggest dumbasses on the planet. They are making NBA players look like rocket scientists.

Actually, he was arrested for swimming naked in a public waterway last season, which is even funnier.
Im gonna go with KEN HAMLIN
They have been identified as former Cowboy Stephen Hodge, Colts defensive end Jerry Hughes and TCU’s Cory Grant…Who???
O, the suspense…..
The link in the story says it’s former Cowboy Stephen Hodge, Colts defensive end Jerry Hughes and TCU’s Cory Grant.

It’s in the link. It’s Stephen Hodge and Jerry Hughes.
The “former Cowboy” bit from PFT is getting really old. Stephen Hodge was a draft choice, but I’m not sure he ever played a game.
Pac-Man played all of 9 games with Dallas, but 20 for Tennessee. How about calling him a former Titan instead?
By the way, Deon Anderson is a former Cowboy. But after being arrested for pot, he never played another game in Dallas. You always fail to mention that in your former Cowboy news* pieces too.
The vault not the bank…
Can someone please explain to me how only 3 people out of everyone in a public bar got arrested for public intox??
I never understood this law because technically any one who is drinking in a bar can/should be booked for public intox…. sounds like a stupid law
Who and who?
TCU knows how to party huh? Tied with the Bengals now…3-3

Generally most people behave even when drunk…its only a few who act like idiots though. THEY are the ones who get arrested…
If you know Jerry and Stephen this is actually quite surprising.
Since people don’t seem to know… Jerry was a 1st round pick of the Colts at DE. He got stuck behind Freeney and Mathis and got very little playing time. Stephen Hodge was a strong safety at TCU, which in the 4-2-5 is more of a hybrid safety/linebacker position. He was a late round pick by the Cowboys and converted to MLB. He started the last two seasons on IR and has yet to see the field professionally. Cory Grant went undrafted and is awaiting free agency.
None of these guys were ever considered big trouble makers at TCU so this is a little surprising to me.
@grpatriot
Marvin White got arrested too so TCU is up 4-3! Oh, but wait… Marvin White is also a Bengal so were back tied at 4-4.
TCU isn’t all bad. Andy Dalton is taking his Bengals teammates on a field trip to church.
Being Texas, they’ll probably be executed.
Jerry Hughes is on his way to being a 1st round bust…and this isn’t helping him. Colts should’ve drafted Saffold in the 2010 Draft.
And Ray Lewis said it would be the fans that would be getting in trouble because of the lockout.
ANOTHER arrest? huh. Isn’t there something these guys can be doing to keep themselves occupied? If they just had a hobby, something to keep them out of trouble. If only there were somehwere that these misguided souls could find themselves at peace….if only..

Would you care for some cheese to go with that?
Attach “COWBOYS” to any non story for hits on this stupid ass blog…works everytime since this cant stand on its own
It’s Jones and Issry. Crying in their beer after folding like a cheap tent to the greedy players.
wow, a lot of legal issues this weekend. We must be getting close to training camp afterall!
Did Rapheal Septien get out of jail?
whats wrong with the man having a few drinks. who cares about a public intox the man is a scrub anyways. he will do 15 hours of community service and his record will be cleared. most of you posting probably have received a similar charge in your life anyways. im just glad everyone can hate on indy those guys are terrible.
Ray “the STICKER” Lewis was right, crime IS up more than normal, players are on the loose!
