@1bigtex - I'm actually shocked that you Big Texas boys continue to defend his weak , woosy butt. There was a time that he'd of been whooped LONG before now. Have you lost your edge or just become emotional. "He's my quarterback man... sniff sniff."

@melonhead - BS. Troy Aikman is immensely respected for his performance. Tony Romo is immensely disrespected for his indolent attitude and weak, weak, weak, mind. Did I mention weak mind?

There is one thing that the Cowboys can do to avoid the backlash, the shots, the bashing…
Win in the post season. What a novel idea.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Novel idea, but that doesn't reflect reality. He's the Cowboys QB, so even if he wins a Super Bowl it won't quiet his critics. Troy Aikman won three and it didn't quiet his critics. Actually, it made it worse. There's really no need to defend against the sniping because the sniping is groundless in the first place. It's just fun to point out how groundless it is. Don't take it as a defense. Take it as a counter-assault of facts against an offensive that typically has no basis in fact.

I'm no Cowyboy hater, but sadly, Cowboy bashing is SOOOOO easy these days.
You can thank Jerry.

On the other side there are emotional Cowboy fans with little defense against the sniping, except for tears, rants, and rage.

Ever since Jimmy's departure, the Cowboys have been no more than a Six Flags rollercoaster ride. Ups/downs with a sudden stop at the end.

In the fourth quarters of games with a score differential no greater than seven points, Romo has completed 165 of 263 passes for 2,418 yards with 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions in his career. That’s good for a 101.5 passer rating. Only Peyton Manning has a better passer rating (103.7) than Romo since 2006 in those situations. Time to acknowledge that no QB is an island.

Cue the Tony Romo haters.

Anyway, did you know: Tony Romo's passer rating has been above 90 in each of the 5 seasons he's been Dallas' quarterback. That's pretty awesome.

@melonhead. Its obvious you're a ROMOsexual.

That guy is a middle of the road average QB from Western Illinois or whatever. His dream was to be a starting NFL QB, make a lot of money, be well known and to get the pretty blonde. He has achieved that goal.

He doesn't have the desire to win a SuperBowl. None, Nada..and he never will.

Maybe you can join him on the golf course in January, and watch the playoffs after he finishes 18 holes.
