Once more, I’ll say the same thing. Keep beating us head to head. Celebrate your 3-1 head to head against us with Rex as HC. Celebrate winning 4 of the past 5. At this rate, keep on celebrating your victory in the last game of the 08 season (we were already knocked out of the playoffs at that point, so in reference to the post I’m quoting, you didn’t knock us out, you just kept the Pats from winning the division).

Bro, I’m honestly beginning to question if you’re reading what I wrote whatsoever, or are just spewing garbage on the page without thinking it through. Probably the latter. I never said we were close to winning one, I simply stated that we’re a lot closer to winning one than you. That’s not an accomplishment, a boast, nothing of the sort; its a simple faced based upon the observation that the Jets have been in two consecutive AFC title games while the Dolphins haven’t even been to the postseason in several years. Its not a boast, or a testament that we’re “close” to a Super Bowl win as you claimed I was doing, its a simple fact that regardless of how “close” we may be, we’re still closer than you.

Your reference to us being underdogs in every playoff game we play: so what? Last time I checked, there’s a reason the games are played. Underdogs or not, we’re 4-2 in postseason play under Rex Ryan. I’m not boasting about losing in the AFC title games at all. Trust me, losing those two games stings badly to this day. What I AM boasting about though, is the fact that you yourself are boasting about consistently beating the Jets. As mentioned, its great that you beat them 4/5 times, bravo, but what has it done for you? Sure, we may have lost the past two AFC title games, but let’s not act as if you’d rather your team be in the situation its currently in than the one the Jets are currently in.

I bought a Yankees shirt at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.

It’s no surprise that a store in Miami would try to make a little extra by having NY teams merch available.

Half the city of Miami used to live there.

Actually, this is good for the Jets and their fanbase since they will always be the Red Headed Step Children in the NY/NJ area where the Giants have ALWAYS been considered the real home team and the Jets are like gum on the bottom of one’s shoe.
