Hall of Fame game decision expected this week

Pro Football Hall of fame AP

The Hall of Fame Game still hasn’t been canceled.  We should know by the end of the week whether it will be played.

John Mullin of CSNChicago.com reports that folks in Canton expect a decision to be expected to be relayed to them later this week.

As we’ve been saying for a while, we’d be surprised if the game doesn’t happen. As long as there is a labor agreement this week, there’s no real reason the teams can’t play in what amounts to a glorified scrimmage.

As said in a prior post concerning this, what the NFL can do if the Bears and Rams need a few extra days to get ready would be to move back the game to Wednesday (August 10), with the Bears and Rams’s scheduled pre-season games for the first full week of pre-season shifted to Sunday or Monday (and the Bears don’t play their pre-season game of the second full week until August 22 anyway). That’s what I think may happen.

As man. U mean that it’s possible we will miss a game where the starters play one drive! Oh no!

Well, there goes my preseason fantasy league. This will surely cut into the playoffs in weeks 3 and 4.

If the players and owners do not sign today or tomorrow…..it doesn’t matter.

I “expect a decision to be expected to be relayed” to me later this week, too.

Then again, I frequently expect an expectation to be expected when it’s expected to be expected.

It’s just a thing I seem to have.
