I would take orton over kolb all day. Kurt Warner was warming the bench when he resurrected himself with az. So I would also take Hasselbeck, Mcnabb or Palmer if he was available. I’m just not sold on kolb. Sorry

I think it is interesting that Kolb is looking for homes in Arizona. It makes me think that he already knows he is going to the Cards. I think back to the draft and remember the rumor that Kolb was traded to the cards and that the Peterson pick was really Arizona picking for the Eagles. You never know but if he is looking at homes and coming out saying he imagines himself in Arizona then it has to be he knows he is going there.

Kolbs INTs almost all came on late game hail marys. Phillys line wasn’t that good last year and Kolb won player. of the week twice. . Ariz is gonna get a good QB, so if you haven’t been to lehigh keep your flawedOpinion to yourself

Look I’m gonna break it down for you nice n slow Kolb haters. A QB makes a team, if you could just slap any arm the cardinals would have won the pathetic NFC west last year, They had DRC as a corner last year what did that get you? Kolb may have not proven his worth YET!!! but, the cards all ready proved that a Anderson or a Skelton can’t get the job done! breston n fitz can’t make you into a great QB, they can make an awful QB look better but you can shine up a terd n make it look better but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a terd!! Eagles have all the leverage u can’t find a better QB than Kolb right now, Eagles have other n maybe better options at cb, mmmmmmm there is this shut down cb named nhamdi available. So you don’t like what hand yer card fans then suck it!!!!

What is wrong with you nitwits. Would you rather hear more about the Lockout? It is pretty simple really. Kolb is the best available QB out there, SO WHO ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO TALK ABOUT? Would you rather hear about McNabb? Or Farve? To me it is refreshing to hear about another QB other then Farve this year. I’m curious as to how this Kolb situation plays out. Seattle & AZ both need a QB and whichever one lands Kolb will probably win the Division. How can you come to a Football Site and complain about one of the biggest potential Available Players being a story? I can’t wait until I see how this unfolds. Football’s Back!!!!!!!!

I love the self-loathing Eagles fans, “We suck, have never won a Superbowl either, in a decade with the same coach making the same decisions every year, but oh by the way the Cardinals/Seahawks are dumber and are gonna totally get screwed by us” Just admit you are pissy over the 2008 NFC Championship and move on. I also like the new twist, “Fitz is over rated”, hope that guy is a Lions fan, way to represent. Don’t even get started on Niners fans. Im sure Kolb will be much worse than Alex Smith. By the way our o-line is deeper than your front 7. Minus Lawson, and minus Franklin and Spikes and probably McDonald. And to everyone else, you guys seem have a lot of fear of the laughable Cards being good. We love it and triple digit heat here in the desert.

Not sure how much you have to see beyond a 73.2 passer rating and more INTs than TDs in an extremely QB-friendly system with top-level receivers. Dude got beaten out by a never-was that was in prison for a couple of years.

No one’s calling Kolb a hall of famer… we’re saying based on when he has started and finished a game he averages over 250 yards a game and a completion % over 66%.

Good question, but which one who is available would you choose over Kolb? We already know their failures. At least there’s still some mystery to Kolb. He’s shown enough in his few chances that there is at least a glimmer of hope that he can be the savior that some are making him out to be. Can anyone truthfully say the same about any of the other QBs who will be available on the open market?

Kolb = playoffs people amaze me. They BARELY made the playoffs twice with a HOF QB in Warner. They were never a dominate team even in their own division. So yeah I guess an unproven QB will be better for them than that HOF QB. smh

Andy Reid has proved to be a shrewd dealer, especially in QBs as evidenced by his willingness to send McNabb to the Skins last year. However it’s being done, a great buzz about Kolb abounds on let’s face it, a relatively unproven product.

Caveat emptor – let the buyer beware!

Kolb and Fitz broke no rules. During the lockout players under contract from one franchise are allowed to contact players from another franchise and arrange to have practices with them. It’s all part of the expired CBA, look it up.

49ers Rams and Seahawks D’s all gonna be better. Arguably, the 9ers D is good now. And spags in STL is bringing STL’s D along. If you don’t know, you don’t know. But they will all be better. Even with Kolb in Arz, it’s a fight for the NFCwest..

Cardinals are a force once they sign Kolb. Gets the ball rolling for them to resign fitz, get the rookies in “camp” then hit the ground running. The rest of the west is so pathetic there is no way anyone gets in their way.

After only 7 starts, NO ONE has really seen him play, which is what makes all of this ridiculous hype surrounding him all the more laughable. What we HAVE seen of him wasn’t the least bit impressive. 6-10 + Cardinals = possible division winner in that toilet of a division.

I would simmer those expectations down a little, joshuavkidd. Arizona’s offensive line was one of the worst in the NFL last year. They will need to get that fortified and, also, Whisenhunt is not a good play-caller. Maybe Kolb should call most of his own plays.
