Hey schmitty2

Yes the Bengals lead the NFL in arrests with 32
Minnesota has 30, Denver, Jacksonville, KC, Miami and Tennesse have 25 -- this isnt a Bengals problem it's an NFL problem...

Palmer isnt the first player to demand trade or retire...Ocho isnt the first loud mouth cry baby WR either (MOSS, TO).

But Yes they are an easy target to slap around.
If you dont live in the city the perception is a little different on the out side looking in....Cincinnati is the land of fair weather fans, just ask the reds and bengals...When the win they have great fans when they suck everyone is jumping off the band wagon. I wish our fans were like Buffalo and the Cubs, sell outs no matter what.

abengalfan I totally agree my friend with you, I guess I'm just a hold for hope dreamer -- born and raised Bengals fan who never stopped rooting for the Bengals...Mike Brown is a bad owner and is way behind the times of the rest of the teams in the NFL for sure, but has far as the worst team there are worse teams for sure on a win loss column...But yes they are a joke when it comes to Mike Brown, I guess I keep hoping for the good ole days when Boomer, Ickey, Brooks, Holman and the Swat Team ruled the jungle to come back...Hopefully our Young Guns of Dalton, Shipley, Gresham, Simpson, Green revive the team in the next few years...I can dream I guess. One of the worst owners in sports, multiple players with arrest records, loudmouth receiver that thinks he's better than he really is, Qb that would rather retire than take another snap with the team. Gee, how could anyone think about hating on this team??

Bungles get it wrong again. This is a publicity stunt.

You wouldn't sign a rental agreement with a landlord with whom you've had a long dispute without taking the time to read every single line. Why do you expect the players to suddenly agree without reading it?

Reading the many negative comments, it's reasonable to come to the conclusion that many of the posters are 1) paid PR staff by the league; b) naive and ignorant; or c) just want to blame someone.

Ok all you Bengal haters lay off, yes Mike Brown is an idiot, but the Bengals are not the worst franchise in the last 10 years of the NFL
What about Detroit? Least amount of wins from 2000-2010 in the NFL - The Detroit Lions, the only team to go 0-16!!!
1.Detroit 48 total wins
2. Houston 55 total wins
3. Cleveland 62 total wins
4. Arizona 67 total wins
5. Oakland 70 total wins
6. Buffalo 70 total wins
7. Cincinnati 72 total wins
Houston has never been to the playoffs, Cleveland has never been to a super bowl, Arizona has been bad for a long time, Oakland has an owner who likes to waste money on bad draft picks - busts like J-Russell -- Buffalo well they suck. so the next time you Bengal Haters want to take shots make sure those 6 other teams are mentioned in the same breathe.

Yes. Glad Cincy had some balls to push the issue. You have to take some steps to keep a blowhard like Smith from finding another excuse. If the players got buffaloed by the nfl its their own fault. it should have been drafted (and Im sure it was) during negotiations and agreed upon before a vote by either side. Of course the players are actually gna get us average folks to believe that the owners took some whiteout and changed the wording!!! lol
Its also kind of funny that the player reps would state daily that they werent very informed on the negotiations and now that they read them there were some (minor) issues changed by the owners?? Even before they read the dang thing???
lol D Smith, you sir are a blowhard and its too bad the players wont see it till its too late.
Hurry folks!! Read this!! Ive posted this type of thing before here and it always gets deleted. feel free to form your own judgments other then what posters write here cause profootballtalk monitors what you are reading here. Kinda like having a democratic commercial on a republican station.

Bengals fan here....don't ask me why....

doesn't surprise me the Bengals do this. Have they ever got anything right?

Mike Brown = worst person in sports

They are 35 million under the cap. Finally going to force that old man to spend a little money. Still won't force him to hire a GM and build an indoor practice facility like every other team.

Loser owner, loser team, loser coach. Can anyone blame Palmer? The guy gets drafted by these losers, pays his dues, puts up with that mouth Chad Johnson, a million arrests and distractions and never complained. That owner should be paying for Carsons moving expenses instead of trying to play tough guy. What a loser Mike Brown is. I have no choice but to feel bad for their fans.
