Skip an NFL team, the players should just start another League. The NFL, the owners and players ONLY have power because of the fans. If the fans wouldn't allow themselves to be robbed and used this would have been done along time ago. I love the NFL. I know it would very hard to stop watching, but there are other Leagues. The owners and players will get richer no matter the out come. The fans are the only party that is going to lose and we will lose. There is no way the fans come out of this with anything except ticket prices that raise every year.

I personally am getting really sick of these idiot players (most of them any way) that can't even spell their own names without help pretending that they have an IQ in double digits. Why would any player think they have a right to be or deserve to be a partner? About 95% of these players' former colleges should revoke any type of diploma they gave these guys. Giving a guy, like so many of the players are, a diploma from a University is an insult and disgrace to any real student who had to earn it. It doesn't take a business major from the Ivy League to understand that the nfl players accepted employment by the people with the money. True the players take risks with their health, this is sad but true, but they take ZERO business risk. Point is the vast majority of these players are literally at an elementary level education level. This doesn't really have anything to do with the story, I just need to get that off my chest.

deadeye says:

This is a good provision that will help some veterans who are “cap casualties” from being waived in the future. I think this agreement has some very good points for the players.

The biggest reason that 31 owners are bhind it is the increased revenue sharing. We don’t know what the owners said to each other behind closed doors, but I guarantee that small market teams threatened to shut it down if the Jerry Jones and Robert Krafts couldn’t figure out a way to make the league profitable for ALL the owners. Well they have, and that will help small market teams from having to relocate to LA just to stay in business.

Has it been announced that there's going to be more revenue sharing? I kept reading that thee was going to be less.

I respectfully disagree with that last sentence. The NFL should be located in the cities that can best support a team.
