I doubt this lawsuit goes anywhere. I don’t think the NFL knew about it in the 1920′s, 30′s, 40′s, 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, etc. It’s actually unclear with the medical community when their knowledge of the effects of multiple concussions was defined. As a matter of fact, there are still HUGE gaps in their knowledge when it comes to understanding what predisposes people to long-term risk of concussions. There is no legal merit to this lawsuit.

Maybe Ottis forgot he signed up for the lawsuit. Or he told someone involved he might sign up and then was put on the list without being asked for his final approval.
