There’s a new video making the rounds, featuring Steelers safety Troy Polamalu having a chunk of his hair removed by someone with clippers and a video camera.
It’s phony, but it’s sufficiently well done to make you think it’s legit.
Our guess is that it’s a new viral marketing campaign for Head & Shoulders. Regardless, it makes for an entertaining respite from lockout limbo.

Love the guy, hes great for football – But after every interception, he should be torn down by that hair – Its a perfectly legal way to tackle if you are foolish enough to let it hang out.

This video confirms that Troy Polamalu not only sounds like a girl in normal conversation, but also when he’s upset, or ‘acting’ upset.
Has anybody bothered to tell him about Samson?
He should raise money for a charity to have it cut in downtown Pittsburgh then donate the hair to a cancer patient. He would be the Saint of the NFL if he did that.

I wonder if Troy got invited to the sham wedding this weekend. It reminds me of the movie “Dumb and Dumber”; she is the dumber having agreed to marry him. I give it 5 years max, shorter if he suggests a rape fantasy in the bedroom.
Troy is one of the good guys in the league. I would take him on my team anytime. Can’t believe the comments. Can’t be a football fan without knowing he is a great football player, regardless of which team you cheer for.
Troy has an awesome head of hair, and it would be wonderful if he donated it to those people who make wigs for cancer victims.
A little surprising to see posts from people hating on Troy. I mean, the only people capable of that are Ravens fans, and until now, I was certain that none of them could read or write.
