1st off, not a Favre fan at all. And I couldn’t care less if Philly does sign him.

All I was doing was pointing out, if he did come back, that is the perfect situation for him. The situation favors Favre & that was the whole point.

He’s not going to come back & learn anything new. He isn’t going to come back unless he knows the coach well. He isn’t going to come back unless he has a shot at winning a ring. The starting QB on that team gets hurt with his style of play.

Favre only does things that absolutely benefit Favre & if the drama queen were to entertain another year, this situation would be the ONLY one.

As a football fan, I want to choke myself.

1) the offense is the exact offense he played in GB & in Minn. He doesn’t have to & isn’t going to at this point learn a new offense as he had to do with the year with the Jets. He can step right in here when he needs to & play.

2) The team is a contender, which we know is a prerequisite.

3) The team has a guy with a tendency for getting hurt.

4) no “new” coach for him to learn, he & Reid go way back to GB together.

If he does come back for one more year, this is EXACTLY where he’ll end up. The familiarity with the offense & the coach and the fact they will be contenders is why.

Does anyone find it funny that this is apparently coming from a Bears fan? I remember leaving Soldier Field in January watching like 10 to 15 Jay Cutler jerseys being burned. That being said..this story has to be a hoax right?
