Yeah, we’re still waiting to pass along official word following the NFLPA* Executive Committee call Monday.

But we’ve got yet another positive sign to pass along.

ProPlayersInsiders announced via Twitter that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is expected at NFLPA* offices later this afternoon. He will presumably be part of a press conference that announces the agreement between the NFL and the players. (The NFLPA* “retweeted” the news.)

It’s the right way to end this mess. While the last four months have been difficult, the two sides must now come together.

They both may not love all aspects of the deal, but that’s a sign it could be a fair one.
