I don’t know how in the world an agent can say the two contract are comparable……really………$20 million dollar difference and their comparable?

Secondly, everyone close to the Panthers organization knows that Peppers wanted out. Carolina tried to sign him multiple times to the largest contract for a DE in history and they were always rebuffed. We’ll see how he does when he starts taking games off in Chicago and how he handles the criticism, he’s not in Charlotte anymore.

Anyone who knows anything at all about the Panthers knows that Peppers simply did not want to stay with the Panthers. They tried to pay him and make him the highest paid defensive player in the NFL, but he would not sign. It was not the Panther’s fault. They tried, but Peppers wanted to leave.
