I, personally, am not sad to see him go. I have never understood why Bills fans like this guy. He is not good we, as a defense are just that bad…I’m kinda hoping that Donte Whitner will follow him out also, however I’m not sure who would be left to make any tackles at all should that happen, haha.

I agree that is a lot of cheddar but we dont know how the contract is weighted. Ill bet a lot of the cash is for the last couple of years and by then who knows. I was just reading about Nate Clements and his $80 million contract from about 4 years ago. If he gets released this year he will only actually have gotten paid about $24 million out of it.

With this recent GM, they havent been in the habit of overpaying players, so I will wait and see and hope he can be help solidify the D.

If you were an alien and just landed on this planet, and this comment was the first thing you read about football, you would think the Buffalo Bills were the most well run and successful franchise in the league.

However, if you read this comment after actually studying the organization and the resumes of the guys running it, you would realize that “rabidbillsfan” is insane.

He played behind one of the best DT in the game the last 2 years… And where did you get the Bills matched the offer? Poz is a “Rah, Rah” guy, but doesn’t back it up on the field. He is poor at the point of attack, sub-par in pass coverage, and is, at best, an average pass-rusher. 7 mil avg for mediocrity is over paying my friend, no matter what way you slice it. Also, please tell us how you feel when every week he is either nursing an injury, or gets gets bull-dozed in the open field. If you look at the source of the Bills poor run D, you will see that it is the LB, not the D-line.

Oh yeah, sorry Bills fans but I think Poz can thrive behind our young talented DTs and really make a name for himself across the league.

Might have overpaid a little bit but we dont know the details of how the contract is stacked across the six year period until later. $15 mil guaranteed isnt bad. Our GM is not the type to throw ridiculous money around unless warranted. Hopefully his play will warrant this contract.

Also wanted to point out that it looks like the Bills matched the Jags contract offer, but Poz chose to make the move to Jax anyway.

It looks like they are giving him $15 mil guaranteed which isnt too bad considering recent signings. Poz will help solidify the linebacker corps but they really badly need help in the secondary. They need to sign at least one starter. Also for everybody talking about Durant coming back to the Jags this year, you can forget it. Durant was told by the front office that his services will no longer be needed and they will not try to sign him. He is an unrestricted free agent and supposedly has interest from teams like Detroit and Chicago.

We will see i dnt think this is a done deal. Buffalo WOULD be able to replace him but the bills have expressed they would love to keep him and poz has said he wants to stay. Probably trying to get leverage on buffalo

man it makes me a little sad that poz is going to leave the bills as he was one of the few solid things they had going for them on the defensive end. if this means the vikes can snag morrison to replace leber i would be pretty happy though.
