So Goodell’s harsh treatment of the players is causing the NFL crime wave? What are you, a buffoon?

Couldn't agree with you more deadeye pizzon is an idiot. Here is a suggestion pizzhead why don't the players respect the rules, wives, girlfriends, or simply the law?

What does it take a Stallworth act on one of your family members to get it through that echo chamber of yours that they represent the NFL and the punishment they get is minimal for just having to obey the law which everyone else has to do. I'm guessing you hate all law enforcement also not because you were treated unfairly just because you were punished for a stupid act yourself. They all know the cosequuences going in but yet the ones that are punished are the ones with the mouths.

The position of the players is typical. They feel they should not be punished or held accountable for any of their actions. My opinion is that they were aware of the policy prior to the lockout so they should be held accountable for anything since then. If the roster bonuses/workout bonuses are to be paid for that time then they should be able to be sanctioned for stupid acts. You can't have it both ways. I think the union should take a strong stance against the minority of idiots that impact the players as a whole. The policy should be more stringent, not less.

Ridiculous. Being locked out shouldn't give the players carte blanche to act like fools and say anything they want without ramifications. They still are part of the NFL, still part of a team, and still need to represent accordingly. It's not asking too much to be a decent human being all the time, not just while not locked out. You don't like it? Go try and get a job in the real world with that foul mouth and lousy attitude and your problems with any kind of authority.

If your company laid you off, would you consider yourself to still be representing that company while you were out of work?

Listen, if I did half the things some of these players have done, maybe just one thing, anything Pacman Jones has done I would be fired!!!

I am happy that someone wants to set some kind of discipline in a sport I love. But some of these brain damaged football players and their twitter accounts sound so ridiculous, starting with the mope James Harrison.

If you don't want to be disciplined don't do anything stupid!!! plain and simple, have some pride and think about your family reputation when you get a mugshot!!!
