As a Raven fan I have all the respect in the world for the Steelers and there fans but I hate how they run around saying “we got six, we got six” when the ravens have been around since 1996! I mean really?? Not to mention that 90% of steelers fans could not name more than 3 of those years they won without having to google it.

At any rate, I’m sure you are right. But, the Ravens are winning in the only category that matters…1 Superbowl (maybe it’s a decade + 1 season ago?)

To the Redskins fan who wanted him – too bad. Develop your own talent. Yanda decided that he would rather make 7 million a year and be with a winning organization than 8 million a year to play for the Danny and be relegated to the bottom of the NFC east.

@eaglesfootballfan – love my Iggles as my NFC east team. But you couldn’t have watched Yanda play based on what you said. The guy is a very very good football player. As far as using the money elsewhere, you may be right, however, you have to make decisions about how your are going to divide up your cap money. Our offensive line is a major area of need. We could not afford to lose Yanda at his age, with his talent because there was no one out there close to his ability ready to replace him. I’d take him over Robert Gallery in a heart beat.

OK, so if the Eagles are average in the playoffs for the last decade, what have the ravens been?

I’m not a betting man, but the Eagles have more playoff wins in the last 10 years than the Ravens do.

Anyone who has either watched him play or had to watch your team play against Yanda knows he is far from average. Average at best would be better used to describe your teams playoff performances for the last decade.
