The Seahawks have been to the playoffs 6 of the past 7 seasons and play in the greatest, loudest stadium in the NFL.

The Vikings are coming off a 6-10 season, play in a deflated baloon, and must compete with the best team in football to make the playoffs.

So am I to understand that you are proud the Hawks made the playoffs last year? The first sub 500 team in playoff history? Yeah I give credit for beating the Saints. Greast job. I t goes to show any team can win on any given Sunday. However, just remember they had the EASIEST schedule in NFL history whereas the Vikes had one of the most difficult last year. So don’t come off as if the Hawks are better than the Vikings. Give me a break!

I love Rice and think he’s an amazingly talented WR. With that said I wouldn’t be heartbroken if he left because he is so dang injury prone. Even before the big hip injury that he decided not to fix in the offseason, thus removing himself from the Vikings for the regular season, he was still injury prone.

I LOST all respect for the Rice after the games he played last seaons. He waited until preseason to have his hip surgery and then when he was cleared to play in the second half of the seaon he cried about still being hurt but magically was fixed when he was given the choice to play or go on IR. Yeah, true, MN had nothing to play for last season, but that can show you more about a player than going 19-0. He showed that when times get tough he will not be there, he cares only about himself and that you cant trust the guy. Id let him go.

You are aware Sidney Rice is the main reason the Vikings had such a bad season last year right?

He basically F@%#ed the team over by waiting to have surgery til right before the season leaving us with no passing game. Hell we traded in desperation for Camarillo and then Moss because we had no passing game like the year before with Rice.

And since when does one bad season mean we’re heading down the wrong road? We went to the NFC Championship game the year before and we’re winning a lot tougher division then the NFC West. So you beat the Saints who couldn’t tackle and didn’t have a turnover defense last year (the reasons they won the super bowl unless you count the refs help in OT) the Vikings will be back to contending in a few years. We got more talented players on offense and defense and even have a better QB situation right now than Seattle. You seriously wanted Tarvaris? If Sidney takes the money like Douchemandzadeh did and chooses Seattle over Minnesota than good riddance. Nobody likes a sellout.

Many assume that Sidney wouldn’t want to play with Tarvaris, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Tarvaris has, in fact, thrown as many regular-season TDs to Sidney than Favre did. The two are great friends off the field, often hanging out in social settings or on the golf course. It wouldn’t be a surprise at all if Sidney followed Tarvaris to Seattle and gave the Seahawks a dynamic passing attack. Bevell helped orchestrate an offense in Minnesota that was one ill-advised Favre pass from gettting to the Super Bowl. If I were a Seahawk fan, I’d be excited about what’s coming down the pike.

Would Rice rather catch passes from McNabb, Ponder, Webb or T-jack, Whitehurt or unknown QB out in Seattle..????

Also consider… Harvin, Shaincoe, Rudolph lined up next to him and drawing coverage away along with Peterson, Gerhardt running the ball well… Compared to what in Seattle… that tight end from eden prairie, Lynch and o-line almost worse than Minnesota’s. Hmmm.

Remember history repeats itself, Houshmanzadeh chose money over the Vikings for Seattle too and look how that turned out in ’09.
