I knew the Broncos would go after him. I really hope the Hawks bring him back, losing Mebane will be a big hit to the D line.

I have a feeling a lot of 4-3 teams will be in on Mebane. He’s simply a solid starting DT, able to shoot the gaps, but stout enough against the run to not be a liability. The Bears, if they had the money to spend, would be wise to target him and place him next to, say, Anthony Adams, inside, but I doubt the Bears have the money or desire to heavily pay for a DL guy.

The Broncos need a headline player in the middle of their defensive line. They have the biggest hole in the league right up the middle and their resent history stopping the run is well known. After missing out in the draft, they need to get a big time playmaker in the middle. GET HIM BRONCOS!

Cofield would have been nice, but they didn’t target him. DeAngelo Williams just got bat-sh!t crazy money to stay in Carolina, whch is too rich for what his services bring. Mebane is young and good. He’s worth it. Just keep your fingers crossed!

I’m a Broncos fan. After missing out on Cofield and DeAngelo Williams, we are going to get Mebane.

We will overpay grossly if necessary. We need him badly.
