Honestly, I know little to nothing about this guy? The thread responses seem positive… Is this guy a big talent? Is he a better run blocker or pass blocker? Is he te kind of leader thy OHara was? Does anyone know his Madden rating? Lol! No seriously…

Not forgetting them at all. They provide some real depth along with Boothe. I think they will be the 3 dressed backups this year and will all get to play here and there. I don’t expect to see Brewer on the field much, but it would be nice to see him get his feet wet.

@Dophy28 don’t forget about Adam Koets & Mitch Petrus. Petrus was drafted with a lot of upside & Koets, who can play any line position, did well during his time filling in last year. There will be some competition during camp.

He’s another Seubert, pretty much. Having guys as versatile as Boss, Diehl, Petrus, and Koets helps if/when injuries happen.

The biggest question now is will we address LT in free agency, or are we fine with Beatty as our starting LT? The interior of the line is set, as far as I’m concerned. Maybe Gaither is on the horizon.

I know some members of the Baas family and they were all certain he would test the FA waters but go back to San Fran. That was his first choice but apparently they didn’t feel the same way so he bolted.

huge loss for 49ers, one of the more underrated players in the league. I’m happy for Baas though. Trent Baalke is a joke and he is destroying the 49er roster.

Love this move from the Giants standpoint, but gotta agree with hus10188. 9ers needed Baas back and they let him go. Takeo is old, but his leadership and experience is invaluable. They better be looking to make a run for Nnamdi or Jonathan Joesph and bring back either Franklin or Goldston or both, something to justify letting these Baas and Spikes go.
