He’s tough, he’s smart, and he’s a pro. He looked great in the preseason, got hurt in the first regular season game, and never looked right after that. Whether it was the injury, or facing more blitzes and complex defensive schemes than the preseason games offered, I’m not knowledgeable enough to judge. But I think he’ll be a valuable teammate to some younger QB somewhere, even though he’ll probably never start a meaningful game again.
