No NFL observer can possibly expect McNabb to have success.

Naturally, the key question for Musgrave is what style of offense he’ll run with the Vikings. In a conference call with beat reporters Thursday, Musgrave described the system he’ll install as a blend of different ideas and concepts.

I’ll give you the first two games, but in the first game last year Favre was 16 of 29, for 212 with 1 TD and 3 INTs. Cry about the officials all you want, but Favre’s play was the reason they lost that game.

Plus, you gotta love the “but, but, but if Shiancoe’s TD (sniffle) counted, then the Vikings win (sniffle) and turn their season around (sniffle), and the Packers miss the playoffs” stuff still coming out of Viking fans. With all this whining and crying, McNabb should be quite popular.

They always fail to mention that there were like 5 minutes left in the second quarter, or that they had three more plays to pick up a first down or TD, or that you have to subtract the field goal that they got instead which would leave the score tied at 28 at the end of the game. This of course makes the HUGE assumption that every other play was called exactly the same and had the exact same result, like McCarthy and Capers coach entirely off a predetermined script, and they don’t adjust the playcalling to fit the situation.
