Actually I’m not mad at all about it and I don’t take offense to your comment. I’m not even a Jets rival fan. I also believe Revis is a product of Rex Ryans defense and not as good as believed. I believe you may be retarded or a Jets slappy. Let’s hope a Jets slappy.
By the way as good as a combo at cb that may be it still won’t compare to my dline combo of Suh and Fairley here in Detroit.

Watch the replays of his hits on Reggie Bush and Eddie Royal, he really looks like he’s shying away from contact there too. Easy to pick one highlight play (an onside kick nonetheless) where he seems to avoid contact.

Also to dispute your theory, Big Ben won a SB while posting a 22.6 rating in the game. Pretty sure defense and a good running game can win you a SB with DECENT QB play.

A good pass rush helps mediocre corners, and phenomenal corners helps a mediocre pass rush…so it goes both ways. If they get a pass rush and a less talented corner or they get Nnamdi and like Antwan Barnes or someone…we beat the Colts and Pats without Nnamdi or a pass rush…

Revis is over rated and neither cb can tackle so this shouldn’t worry balanced teams like the Steelers or Ravens. It’s the Pats and Colt type teams that would struggle.

mrclearview – the Jets are so weak up front its laughable? How about the fact they held opponents to just over 90 yards a game on the ground (good for third overall)? Try using statistics to back up your arguments instead of just making things up.

First of all, the Jets did a very good job of stopping the run last year. And they added two big defensive tackles through the draft.

Second, when a team asks a player to “restructure” his contract, it doesn’t mean he’s taking a pay cut. They move the money around to try and lower the player’s cap value. Doesn’t sound like Revis was up for it, but Sanchez has said he would do it, but so far it hasn’t happened.
