Once primarily a producer of raw materials, Minnesota's economy has transformed in the last 200 years to emphasize finished products and services. Perhaps the most significant characteristic of the economy is its diversity; the relative outputs of its business sectors closely match the United States as a whole. The economy of Minnesota had a gross domestic product of $262 billion in 2008. Thirty-three of the United States' top 1,000 publicly traded companies (by revenue in 2008) are headquartered in Minnesota, including Target, UnitedHealth Group, 3M, Medtronic, General Mills, U.S. Bancorp, Ameriprise, Hormel, Land O' Lakes, SuperValu, Best Buy and Valspar. Private companies based in Minnesota include Cargill, the largest privately owned company in the United States, and Carlson Companies, the parent company of Radisson Hotels.

Poppinga and Harrell signed by the Vikings

Hey….can’t help it that players would rather play for the Vikes……who would want to live in that armpit in gbay?? Oh, wait, NONE of gbay players do!! MY BAD!!!!!

Should be DUNCE5....And the difference between the Twin Cities and Green Bay is minimal, other than populus...but here's a tid bit.

What TCs have that GB doesn't:

1) A baseball team
2) A hockey team (every decade or so)
3) A basketball team (see end of #2)
4) More snow...
5) More gay bars.
6) Almost as many fans from opposing teams.
7) A shrine to that Prince dude or whatever he calls himself now.
8) An empty trophy case.
9) A really big mall.
10) A football stadium with a roof on it....oh,
scratch that last one.
We've been over this...get 15 miles outside of St. Paul or Minneapolis and you're in the east Dakotas or Canada.

The Twin Cities are a great town and I've had tons of fun there, but remember...you're on a Pro Football website where people discuss pro football and it's past history. Something you people try to forget, like a bad taste in your mouth. Try revamping the team's uniform, it seemed to do wonders last year. And again, way to troll the Packer news...troll....you dark pink troll.

I'm thinking Tauscher is already a free agent, wasn't he signed to a 1 year contract last year? I'm guessing one of the other cuts will be Brandon Underwood due to his legal troubles and overall JAG-ness. If Johnny Jolly is still considered a Packer, he might certainly be the other guy.

Not sure of when the money would have kicked in as far as paychecks are concerned but I would of thought that since Harrell already is nipping almost 600k from the Cap and his total comp for 2011 was 1.2mill Ted would have given him one last try to recoup the losses. He may still be hurt though, not quite sure with him....
